	BIG RESORT SERVICES Although Thuya Lakes is a small resort, we offer the kind of services you would expect from the larger, more accessible resorts. Boat and electric motor rentals, float tube equipment.

	SMOKED FISH & LESSONS You haven’t tasted smoked fish until you have tried some of ours! We will be happy to smoke your catch for you to take back home. Want some guided assistance on your fishing trip? Neil will be happy to guide and assist you on your trip to the outer lakes . Also available is a selection of hand-tied flies, tackle, souvenir items, fishing and hunting licenses, basic grocery supplies and snack items.

MORE THAN FISHING

We, of course, think fishing is important , but we know we have much more to offer. We have many well maintained hiking and mountain bike trails. There is a small playground available for children, and bring along your swimsuit – take a refreshing dip in the lake.

Are you a photographer/observer of nature? Many animals, birds, trees, flowers, berries, and mushrooms are to be found in the area – a true nature lover’s paradise! Some hunting is available – check regulations for details.

Beautiful Wells Gray Park located near Clearwater, B.C. is just a two hour drive away, offering some of the best scenery in the world! Take a drive up Highway 24 - the "Highway to the Cariboo" - and check out all there is to see and do - like book a horseback riding trip.

FAMILY-STYLE DINING AND LICENSED LODGE :: Over the years we have achieved a reputation for our delicious meals. Although you won’t find "gourmet", you will find very tasty, attractive meals, served "family style". Roast turkey with all the trimmings, succulent Prime Rib, teriyaki salmon, and our speciality - smoked chicken and ribs from our very own smokehouse– , fresh salads, pastas, soups, and delicious desserts – is just a sample of what you can expect. Breakfasts are full course, and in addition to the usual breakfast "fare", enjoy fresh muffins, scones and other treats fresh from the oven. Packed lunches are substantial to get you through the day. We hold a current liquor license, and you may enjoy a glass of wine, beer or liquor with your meals. :: Guests may either take advantage of our full American Plan which includes cabin, all meals, boat and motor or float tube equipment, and bedding or our Housekeeping Plan which includes cabin and use of a row boat every day.
