Lakes Lodge is located just 65 miles (105 km) NW of Kamloops,
BC, and has the distinction of being the only
resort in the area with over 30 small wilderness lakes joined
by streams, naturally reproducing with wild
Kamloops rainbow trout, perfect for Fly
Fishing and Float Tubing .

Wild Kamloops Rainbow Trout Fly Fishing
At Thuya Lakes you can expect to find some of the best rainbow
trout fishing in British Columbia. The lakes range in elevation
from 3800 to 5400 feet ensuring good angling throughout
the season – from June until September.
Our resort is the only one in the area, and with over 30
small, well managed mountain lakes to choose from, you will
certainly be assured of privacy. They vary in size and deepness
– most are under a mile long with an average depth of 45
feet – all self-spawn with wild Kamloops trout and ideal
for fly fishing and float tubing.

Lakeshore Log Cabins
Drive in to our Resort , and stay in one of our eight
tastefully decorated cozy
lakeshore log cabins and take advantage of our full
American
Plan or our Housekeeping
Plan. Our log cabins are located on the shores
of Thuya Lakes, and situated far enough apart to ensure privacy.
All cabins are equipped with gas cooking stoves, electric
fridges, wood stoves for heating, running cold water, basic
pots, pans and dishes.

The Lodge
Our lodge is the setting for our dining room and lounge. Guests
can enjoy a hearty meal or just relax by the fireplace, mingle
with the other guests or sit out on the deck amongst the many
plants and flowers and enjoy the unsurpassed British Columbia
scenery.
Hiking & Mountain Biking
In addition to angling, we also have much more to offer -
the outdoor recreation is almost unlimited: hiking, mountain
biking, swimming and more! You can hike, mountain bike, or
take an ATV out on the many trails to the lakes, swim, take
a tour around the lakes in a boat or canoe, or just sit back
and relax.
